Paul G. Pascarella O.D.

Dr. Pascarella is an Optometric Physician certified in the diagnosis and therapeutic managementof eye disease. He has been in practice for over 19 years in Bucks County, PA providingcomprehensive eye care and expert contact lens fitting. Dr. Pascarella specializes in fittingcontact lenses on the most challenging conditions of the eye. Patients with irregular astigmatism,keratoconus, dry eyes, refractive and strabismic amblyopia, and presbyopia (difficulty seeing upclose), have benefited from his years of experience.

After attending Villanova University for his undergraduate studies, Dr. Pascarella went onto thePennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) where he received honors for his lowvision, private practice, and contact lens rotations. Early in his career he acted as a consultant tothe Prevention of Blindness Council and External Education Dept. for the College of Optometryin Philadelphia, PA. He currently is an adjunct faculty member of the New England College ofOptometry, in addition to, Salus University and participates in their externship programs. In2012, Dr. Pascarella accepted the position of Consultant to the Contact Lens Department of SalusUniversity. He teaches a “hands on” RGP (rigid gas permeable) contact lens lab and will be acontributing lecturer for the new Advanced Studies Contact Lens Course beginning in January2013. He will be instructing the topics of Multifocal and Bifocal Contact Lens Designs, as wellas, Multifocal Contact Lenses for Astigmatism.

Dr. Pascarella also actively participates in teaching workshops for students of optometryregarding contact lens fitting techniques.

Dr. Pascarella is a member of the American Optometric Association, as well as, the PennsylvaniaOptometric Association. He is also part of the Contact Lens and Cornea Section of theAmerican Optometric Association. Dr. Pascarella has been asked to participate in nationallyrecognized peer discussion groups, as well as, clinical research studies and contact lens practicemanagement lectures. He contributed to an instructional video series to help other doctors learnhow to utilize bifocal lens designs.

Dr. Pascarella is often referred to by other eye care professionals for his expertise in hard to fitcomplicated fitting situations. He welcomes patients from a growing network of practices andenjoys working with other doctors who have specialties in other areas. When Dr. Pascarella isnot in the office he enjoys watching and coaching soccer, kayaking, hiking and playing golf. Heand his wife live in Richboro, PA with their three children.
